Christian Emphasis Movement Mission Statement: “To make Christ and His values evident in the culture of the YMCA”
The movement is made up of:
Men and women whose sole purpose is to help advance the “C” in the YMCA. Each full-time ministry leader has a different title in their organization (Christian Emphasis Director, Mission Emphasis Coordinator, etc) but all the same focus: to focus on the spiritual culture of their YMCA.
Men and women who look at their area of influence in the YMCA as an opportunity to exalt Christ in all that they do. YMCA Christian Professionals are comprised of: CEOs, CFOs, Executive Directors, etc; all whom see their profession as ministry, all whom are living out their faith in the workplace.
YOU ARE PART OF THE MOVEMENT:
This wouldn’t be a movement without you. If you are currently serving in the YMCA and you are a Christian, join us in the effort to magnify Christ in the YMCA. Look for ways to live out your faith in your work. Remember you are not alone, email any YMCA leader to ask questions, ask for prayer or simply to fellowship with.
